Going away doesn’t have to be stressful for you or your pets. I provide reliable, in-home pet sitting so your animals can stay comfortable in their own familiar surroundings while you’re away.
From daily visits to overnight stays and even longer holidays sits, I care for your pets as if they were my own and keep your home occupied and secure as a bonus!

Going away overnight on business, for a short getaway or even a full blown holiday? I can stay in your home, keep your pets fed, watered, exercised and happy, whilst maintaining their normal routine and keeping anxiety to a minimum. Especially beneficial for older pets or those who get easily upset by changes of routine and environment and allowing you a stress-free time away.
Going to be out all day at work, an event or occassion where you can't get home to walk the dog.
Don't want to miss that wedding, sporting event or lunch you've been invited to but have to be around for the dog walk?
Whilst I don't offer a regular, daily dog walking service, I can be available for ad-hoc occasions which may arise.
Don't need or want someone to to stay in your home whilst you are away and have a pet that is used to be left alone in the house for periods during the day - I can make visits during the day for feeding, walks, play and toilet needs.
This service is only provided in areas local to Canterbury.
A bonus to having your pet looked after in your home is the added security of not leaving the property empty whilst you are away.
Having me stay at your home helps deter unwanted attention and keep your property and pet safe.
I can also undertake light house care duties whilst you are away such as picking up post, accepting parcels, watering plants and grass cutting.

My commitment to maintaining your pets normal routines and providing attention and care, the way they like it means your pets experience less anxiety and stress whilst you are away.
I always meet with you and your pet before we commit to taking on an assignment to ensure we all gel. We get you to outline the routine required for your pet. Do they love cuddles, are they loners, do they have a favourite toy, it all matters.
In a kennel or cattery, your fur baby is one of many and even the best of choices has to spread their time across multiple animals. Using my services means your pets get my undivided attention.
You provide me with any relevant information about your pets preferences, habits and routine, so I can ensure they are treated in the same way as they would if you were at home.
Being a small business, and providing services within your own home means I can work to very reasonable rates.
I am a retiree and a key focus for my business is enjoying spending active time caring for pets, especially dogs.
It can be easy to see when someone has gone on holiday or when normal activities are not taking place at your home.
Having me stay at your house means you can relax in the knowledge those tell tale empty house signs are not in play.
Post won't be piling up, bins can be emptied as normal, the grass doesn't have to be getting out of hand. All thses aspects can continue as normal, should you choose.
Before we agree that I'm the right person to take care of your pet, I need some information to help me quote you a price. I ask you fill out an enquiry form with as much detail as possible. On receipt of this, I'll draw up a quote, send it to you and get in contact so we can discuss any questions you might have. Once you are happy with prices, and what they cover, we will arrange a time for me to meet you and your pet in your home setting.
Only once we are all happy to proceed, we can get the paperwork signed.
You will also need to fill out a questionaire, detailing care instructions for your pet before the first day of visits or the day you depart.
It sounds a bit of a pfaff but really isn't and it's important we are all happy and singing from the same hymn sheet, to ensure a great experience all round.

Born and bred in Glasgow, I moved down South over 30 years ago and have been living in the Canterbury area for over 24 years now.
I recently retired from my role as Security Officer at the University of Kent and part of my motivation is to remain active, fit and healthy.
Why don't I have my own dog right now? Shockingly my partner (Ali) isn't really a fan of dogs - I know, what's wrong with her eh? But she also does quite rightly point out that our love of travel and limited space in our current house rental does make it difficult.
